Unitech Power Systems AS is established
Becomes a sister company of Unitech Engineering with Unitech Holding as the common parent company
Over time, it became difficult to find a common strategy for Unitech Engineering, which in 1998 had nearly 100 employees, mainly within multidisciplinary rental on one side and specialised system studies and the EDSA agency on the other. On 20 March 1998, Unitech Power Systems AS was established as a separate company and placed under Unitech Holding as a wholly owned subsidiary. This was done because the company had gradually become so specialised that the name "engineering" was no longer suitable.
